It is a rose OK, but what a rose! Quite unsual approach to flower pictures if we count this in that category at all! I'm delighted Engela! I haven's so far seen such a rose! I would still like to see the original because the petals are so well spread and organized, positioned!

This is an amzing photo. Although we normally photograph roses for their beautiful colours, I am impressed with the excellent black and white tones here. Great composition and superb use of lighting. Congrats.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment.  I am very glad that you guys like what I've done, because Pierre also mentioned that the original is just too red and the details are almost lost.  And off course the background was just not suitable to begin with.
