Self Portrait attempt

It's tougher to do a self portrait than I expected. Any thoughts?

I like it...alot... Very nicely lit.. and the shadows work very well.. Mood is there too... Is it the mood/image you wanted to show? If you are not happy with it - I'd suggest having a mirror handy to make sure you are giving the expression you want to project.

Very nice, well controlled lighting. It's neither too diffuse or specular, which is a difficult balance to achieve and yields a wonderfull, 3-D effect.

 

Some nits - I think you could use a bit stronger profile light on the right side (not too much) and sharpness seems over-all a bit soft.

I've done self portraits. And it is hard to get a good shot. Great job on your self portrait. Wonderful folders overall.
