Love the image. It's fantastic !!! What really catches the eye is the simplicity and a very strong graphic design that perfectly matches the concept: the struggle between life and death, the eternal cycle that continues perpetually since the beginning of time.

Technically, the image is executed very well. The light is nicely scattered, without any harsh contrast that is typically seen in full sunshine. Color palette of the background very pleasantly emphasizes the plant, which strengthens the message.

In terms of possible improvement, the only thing that I'd suggest is that you could possibly consider cropping the top portion of the image a bit tighter. There is an element in the upper left corner, above the stone (I'm not sure what that is) which in my opinion, does not add anything to the whole but possibly distracts the viewer from the main subject. I guess that 8x10 or more square-ish type of cropping would be enough to eliminate it.

Congratulations ! This is one of the better images that I've seen in a while.
