A fine shot. (Probably the scanner is putting in that funny yellow hue?) I get the feeling here that I want to see more foreground below leading powerfully into that nice arrangement of rocks above. Use the cracks in the rock for directional force, make the frame vertical, and then place the rocks in the top third - see what it looks like then. I always think that a horizontal frame takes away from the very dramatic type of landscape such as you have here.

Thanks for the great idea Gordon. I love feedback like that because it gives me ideas that i can incorporate into other situations I might encounter in the future. Thanks so much. I was on travel when I took that shot, so I'll likely not have a chance to try it out and see what it looks like. If anyone else wants to try it though, this spot is behind the "stem gem" boulder in the Hidden Valley Campground. Any climber can point u in the right direction.
