edlark 0 Posted May 12, 2003 So different from the rest of your portfolio, and very cool. Takes a few second to figure out what the subject might be. Very nice "painterly" composition and I really like the subtle coloring. Link to comment
briany 0 Posted May 14, 2003 I like this one better. I like the slight color, and the smooth likes coming in from the lower right. Link to comment

root 0 Posted March 6, 2004 Familiar as I am with Bailey's tastes and rating patterns, I'm going to guess that he gave abstraction #1 a '2'. The elements look like fur and running water which are, of course, incongruous, so unless it's setup, which I doubt, that's probably wrong. I can see a series of these in a gallery. . . with or without explanation. Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted March 6, 2004 This is an interesting take on a waterfall (or at least falling water) and suddenly "Abstraction #1" makes a lot more sense. I like the bursts of water that gave Carl the fur impression. It seems like the kind of effect you would get from the initial flow of water as opposed to a constant stream. That appears to be an awful lot of water to try to control though. I too like these much more as a series than I did seeing them individually. Either way they are certainly unique abstractions. Oh and congratulation... you are also my 1000th comment within Photo.net. I don't know what that means, but it's a personal milestone nonetheless. Link to comment
