raul_camargo 0 Posted June 9, 2011 A nice picture of an attractive subject. Her eyes are striking, which leads to the critical part of the critique. Her eyes are so striking that with such tight framing they dominate the photo and draw attention from the rest of her face. I did find that in a smaller sized image where her entire face is visible all at once the effect goes away. Other than that, I think it's a good picture of a pretty girl. Thanks for posting it.-Raul Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 421 Posted June 9, 2011 Welcome Raul and thank you for your real critique!I deliberately did the picture as I did it just to show that the simple next door girl may be striking sometimes! In other words that we all have something special, none of us is as simple and common as it shows at first glance!Best regards!PDE Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted June 9, 2011 My good friend Pierre,I absolutely love film images that are strikingly beautiful. Her piercing eyes are well defined. The low level make-up provided that "morning-look" and it is wonderful to see it presented in such a manor.Great work (as usual).Uncle Mike Link to comment

beezartdms-wildlife 0 Posted June 9, 2011 Pierre,Here is proof that simple, natural beauty is better than portraits that suffer from over-processing and editing. Lovely, expressive subject, simple beauty.Touche! (I wish I had a girl next door like this to shoot.) Link to comment

morophaenixmau 28 Posted June 9, 2011 Un ritratto così particolare ed intenso può essere frutto solo della mente e dell'occhio di Pierre! Mi piace moltissimo! Bravo&geniale, amico mio! Link to comment
petershans 0 Posted June 9, 2011 You left the light somewhat flat, so all the attention shifts to the eyes. nice work.cheers, hans Link to comment
brano_k 0 Posted June 9, 2011 Pierre, it makes only right that her eyes are focal point(s) of this photo. Despite being razor sharp, there is a certain softness, better to say tenderness, that still distinguishes analogue from digital. Thanks for reminding us that world still exists in states other than zero and one. You live in a great neighborhood! Link to comment

paulcasagrande 0 Posted June 10, 2011 Sei fortunato, avere dei vicini cosi puri,un po melanconici, al punto giusto da creare tanta tenerezza.hai fotografato l'anima ! complimenti ! Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted June 10, 2011 Pierre... I sense melancholy or perhaps it's disarming frankness in this look. Truly an attractive young lady in spite of the lack of glamour. Striking eyes... Mike Link to comment
fotografya 0 Posted June 10, 2011 I hope we can see her more happy. :) So pale, so natural and the longish composition completes your scene. Link to comment
