Beautiful color and clarity.  I like how you used the DOF.  That lens gives nice smooth backgrounds (my favorite lens as it happens).

Thankyou for those lovely words of critique. The Iris is one of my favorite and whenever I give flowers I always love including the mini Iris, I find them so colourful.  These Iris were in my garden at this house when we moved here, what a lovely surprise I had in the Spring!!!
