This is my favorite of a series of pic I have taken last summer with beautiful root trees and a very patient model. Thank you.

Very inventive use of similar forms and contrasting textures. Personally, I would like it more if it was cropped from the top just below here left knee so that the play on forms is a bit less obvious and invites more exploration. Very nice though.

So maybe having "legs like tree trunks" isn't such a bad thing! ;-) Very interesting--it took a wonderful (and creative) eye to recognize the potential here, and great skill to capture it!

Outstanding shot, needs a good eye to see such oportunity and a good skill to bring it to a photo.

Wondefully original, and well executed. I agree some cropping from the top might make this even stronger, but I wouldn't go below knee level, just shave off a bit.

Very original and different, I love the way the legs almost become part of the tree, very good idea, well composed and taken.

already said that this is an excellent idea. I think you can play a lot with this. For my personal taste, I would try to tone this to some color more similar to wood. Also a tad more contrast is needed.

Very inventive. You might want to set the black point a little lower to boost contrast. Also, is the jpg around 100KB? If not, you might want to upload a smaller version before it gets busted by the pixel police. Great fun.

very well chosen tree. I especially like the right part with the human-shape form + the transversal direction of the root folding on the bottom. I disagree with the cropping remarks, i find it perfect like this.

Fun and original with that fine artsy feel. I might maybe adjust this in Photoshop a little if it was mine and see if you like it better with a little more sharpensss and contrast (or maybe not) and I would darken that white spot in the bottom left corner.
