Hall of the White Giant, Carlsbad Caverns.

HDR from 3 long exposures. Shot at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in

New Mexico. Photography at Carlsbad is a fun experience in that you

don't need to wake up early or stay late waiting for the right light!

Thoughts, comments and critique appreciated. Thanks for looking!

This place seems to be extremely interesting, the texture of the walls surface is amazing. Unfortunately, I've got an impression that most of the details were lost due to too small size of this photo...

Regards.

I think another problem might be the fact that the lighting is relatively flat as the result of the HDR processing, and we need that tonal difference to separate things.  As a result of the flat lighting, it appears much too two-dimensional and without depth; I just can't "see" the separate details.  It's like a wall with different textures and colors.  Yet, I can appreciate the great difficulty of photographing here, given the wide range of brightness and the localized light sources, and I can't offer a better solution.  Even though it seems to lack depth, the variety of colors and strong textures are attractive on their own.
