robert_tilden1 0 Posted May 11, 2003 Like the way you made the trees stand out against the sky and grass; sometimes difficult. Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted May 11, 2003 A superbly composed photo with the black stripe leading the attention to the left tree and the clouds take it from there and spreading the attention to the other trees. Link to comment
sidster 0 Posted May 12, 2003 As a general rule I avoid cropping and like to keep composition within the viewfinder whenever possible. But I wonder if you were to crop the bottom part of the picture up to the point where the diagonal shadow meets the right edge would it not increase the aesthetics of the work. --patrick (20030511) Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted May 12, 2003 A place you "used to know." Is it that you don't return often enough to know it now? Or has the camera changed your perception of it? Link to comment

alamosa 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Do you mean that you used an IR filter on the camera or that you IR filtered it in PS? What filter did you use if it was on the camera? Link to comment
ilona wellmann 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Shot with a Infrared filter B+W 093. Settings: 1 Sec, f3.5 Link to comment
jimknowles 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Truly! You did a spectacular job here capturing a scenic that might otherwise be construed as mundane. This is a perfect scene for IR. Great job on the sky and clouds as well! Those puffy trees and fluffy clouds combined with the vast field of grasses intersected by the lake give this image the classic dream like quality IR was made for! Link to comment
