The composition while interesting is seriously let down by the exposure. ie scene luminance range. The time of day this was taken makes it extremely dificult to get detail in both the highlights and the shadow areas, the tree line is blocked up with no detail, and the highlights, waves and clouds have blown out, there is no photographic detail here.

This could have been sorted out be cropping out these problem areas or taking the shot at a time when the overall scene luminance has less contrast.
