Stand Amoung

Taken in the Deadvlei, Namibia. Quite a surreal place, you feel like you on

another planet. Used a polariser to darken the sky a bit otherwise no filters

needed here. Thanx for viewing, comments welcome.

First, I like the layered background from the sky to the gold to the thin yellow line.  Secondly, the composition is excellent - the lone tree in front and the others scattered somewhat symmetrically holds the eye's attention on the main tree.

I never tire of images of this place. Sure hope to check it out someday. I might like a tad less polarization on the top left side but that is a minor nit for this nice piece.

Thanx everyone for the kind words. The polarisation is an effect which i really like but obviously not to everyones taste. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful place to try some different shots.
