Chris,

Your moon image has a unique color. You are probably better off displaying the moon in its natural light. The "Auto Color balance" in CS5 is what I used.

 I cropped out some of the black frame and raised the contrast/sharpness up a bit to develop more details that you have captured.

Good job with the IS lens at 300mm.
