looks contrived

good geometric arrangement and shadow. green is dominant but the small red accent is the kick!

Of course it's contrived! I like the curve of the shadow... it works for me.

 

Nice composition and shadow line here. Yet, imo, the yellow paper's reflection in the shadow area and the fact that we have 4 strong colors is too much colors for an image that was all about lines and light. A simple suggestion: try converting this to B&W, and I think the result will be VERY good. Regards.

Can't agree with Marc. IMO this is a subtle play with colours where you start with a strong green and its shadows which is very well complemented (and subtly) with the other coloured sheets. Good work!

I think this particular photo is very original. It's of colored paper, but the lines and curves in it are very pleasing to the eye. Good job!
