gsphotoguy 3 Posted May 8, 2011 This silhouette is very pretty, Amitai. I like the detail you held in her hair and the use of reflective material on the floor. Well made. Link to comment

stamos 1 Posted May 10, 2011 I like this work. Nice pose, beautiful model, nice backlight. I think some details in her left hand could be improved in pose or edit. This is just my personal opinion. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted May 24, 2011 Usually I don't like most the nudes photo in the site , because very few has a real artisitic look of them, this is one of the nice ones. Has the right artistic approach. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted June 12, 2011 Amitai, There are a lot of things going for this nude portrait, I believe. I really like the strong graphics working together (& brought out well in B&W): the simple, yet elegant chair, the model's legs, arms, and (damp) hair work particularly well in this respect. I like the silhouette approach, although I feel that you could have gone either way a bit further (or less) with this... 'Less light', as to appear more silhouette-like (&more B&W graphic in approach), or totally the other way: by increasing slightly the (subtle) lighting on her face, as it appears she is looking at the viewer, and I can barely make out her expression or eye contact. The one thing that bothers me slightly (and I'm possibly looking at this purely from a woman's pov :-): is the (forced) positioning of her left leg. It supports the model's arm, but frankly it doesn't look very natural (let alone comfortable) to me.... It fits the overall graphic pose nicely of course, but it only took a second for me to see beyond that.... That all being said, I like your approach of this, Amitai, and I think that it is an appealing 'nude' photo. (Although I am with Pnina in that respect :-) Best regards to you, Marjolein Link to comment
