Lovely silhouette work Linda...what pleasurable scenes you come across! I wish I had horses near me to photograph! Very well done. Thank you for sharing! :)

It is all North America. I am just giving you a hard time,  I don’t mind. We do share a continent and are more alike than we are different. Some Canadians are offended, like Irish being confused with Brits, Japanese and Chinese etc.

:-)

Best wishes.

...thank you! The scenery around me inspires me every time I go out the door. There are horses and beautiful vistas everywhere I look. I am going out shooting this afternoon, and I can hardly wait. It was nice to hear from you.

First I at attacted by the tone of the image, we usually filter on warm or cool tones but here we are not warm or cool but a unique expression of tones and feel. The back lighting works so well along with the creative use of curves on the hil to show the curve of the earth almost. I think it is effective use of negative space also... I think it is a well balanced image... MJ

Also did follow your comment and posted one image for rate not sure how that will go... MJ

Pulls at the heart -- magnificent animals free with the expanse of sky -- so generous in your composition -- just a bit of grass on a slightly rounded earth like the top of a globe, the graceful horse silhouettes with that tinge of movement with tail suggesting animation, and the magnificent light in the sky and how the clouds catch it, self-sufficient organic nourishment - satisfying their hunger  -- Soulful, restful, almost peace
