I like the lines and the colours in this photo. Simple composition that works. Good focus on all elements - it would have failed without that.

I like your post processing.  It looks like a drawing/painting.  The gradient background works nicely.

David, it's all about the composition and also the colors. the composition is flawless, as are the colors, except for the white, it being the one color that seems harsh. all the others are soft and create such a lovely mood. if you just remove the white and take a look i think you will see what am saying. this is just such a gorgeous image, i think you want it just right. i seldom feel so strongly about a image. wonderful work!

I wouldn't change a thing about this gorgeous composition. It's absolutely elegant, and that, IMHO, includes the border. Kudos, Jerry King

David, Jerry is most certainly entitled to his opinion, but i just can't let this one go. which ever way you look at this image the way it is the white draws your eye. it's just too strong for your existing colors, all of your other colors are soft in nature and compliment one another where as the white stands out alone. you also submitted a lovely sunflower a few days back with the same white border, i almost was going to suggest the same with it, but in that image you also had white clouds in the sky which lessened the effect of the border. if this were my image, i would actually have no borders white or black. if you have the time just take a peek at my portfolio. the only time i consider a border is for a exhibition and then only for a very very few. this image would be by far the nicest image this year of bleeding hearts that i have seen. sorry to be so persistent here. you can also tell me to take a flying leap at a rolling doughnut! your image is one i would hang on my wall, and i seldom to never say that.
