dbasinger 0 Posted April 30, 2011 This beautiful flower was sitting on my patio waiting to be planted and the lighting was just right to capture the color. Any critiques are most appreciated. Thanks for looking Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted April 30, 2011 Deanna... The Columbine is so delicate and graceful, and while all that I've seen are red, the violet is gorgeous as well... Good shot... Mike Link to comment

sonneland 0 Posted April 30, 2011 Deanna, your flower is just really nice, think would give some thought to maybe putting on a more complementary b/g. nice work! Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted May 1, 2011 Nice color and detail with interesting DoF. I think I would have preferred the stem on the front flower to be sharper which woupd also mean that the back of the flower would be in better focus. The soft shadow of a flower in the back is nicely done. These are a great harbinger of the spring we are all awaiting. Nicely seen. - Charles Link to comment

dbasinger 0 Posted May 7, 2011 Thanks for the advice for the back ground. I left almost everything natural in this shot and the b/g is our patio. It will be fun to see how this flower shows on different colors. I always look forward to your helpful critiques. Take care, Deanna Link to comment
dbasinger 0 Posted May 7, 2011 The light for this shot was questionable and I did not want to use flash so soft focus was my only option at the time. Thank you for the comment. Take care, Deanna Link to comment
