I find the technique used here very unique. Can you give us some details?

Sure. I manipulated the SX-70 film to give it a sort of crumpled look. Then I scanned it into Photoshop where I blended it with another scanned textured background that I created on watercolor paper to further the effect. Thanks for your appreciation!

Your similar top-rated image has more flashy colors, but I like better the gentle subtle tones of this one. Besides that, The composition here is fantastic - and less so in the other one... Regards.
