John Peri 1,039 Posted April 24, 2011 Well, what Florin P. Is saying then in fact (sic), is that the crooked walls, slopping horizons, missing hands and hairlines, burned out areas etc., in Demarchelier's works are acceptable because they are still excellent photos. It would appear then that we agree! Too often I feel on PN such items are criticized .. one must look at the tree but not disregard the forest in which it is situated. MJ Orgeron .. many thanks for your support. I am still alike most of us deeply engrossed in the learning process. I just continue to weigh the options among all the influences I see. Obviously I accept some and reject others, sometimes rightly other times wrongly so, but otherwise nothing personal would come out of our work. As for your own style, it is always those that are modest that are the most accomplished. Apart for the considerable technical prowess, your work is filled with remarkable richness, generosity and charm, a reflection of both your character and your way of seeing things around you.
