marlene_degrood 0 Posted May 3, 2003 4x5 Polaroid neg. transferred onto watercolor paper. Best viewed large. I've been waiting for this old firetruck to get moved to a better location and today it was. A cloudy early morning in the desert, was just what I needed for this shot. Of course I always appreciate your comments and ratings. Thank you! Link to comment

heinz_peter_baltes 0 Posted May 4, 2003 Wonderful work! I know, it is not easy to get such a perfect result. Congratulations. Link to comment
mark_johnson12 0 Posted May 5, 2003 Flawless. Aside from the obvious beauty of the transfer process, the way you've composed this is superb. The lines of the hood and fence keep the eye firmly in the frame, while the headlight is a very strong focal point. I really must try this technique some day, although I know my results would never come close to this. Link to comment
kezia 0 Posted May 5, 2003 Excellent. I'm addicted to abandoned vehicles anyway - the shapes and angles and dull rusted paintwork fascinate me - and this is perfect; the fence really adds to the composition and the polaroid transfer technique is just right for this. Link to comment

theblindphotographer 0 Posted May 5, 2003 Marlene; when I first looked at this great photo I thought that rating wise, you were going to be slaughtered as this is not traditional photography. I was wrong. Thats nice. Link to comment
