For my day job I have a 3hr round trip commute. The one positive thing

to that is I get to drive the length of Napa Valley every morning and

evening. This is a favorite spot of mine in the Pope Valley area of

Napa County.

You are very lucky with that trip, you can see this beautiful place. This is a real masterpiece, excellent tones and details on the sky and grass. The composition is perfect for this shot. My rate: 7. Congrats.

Jeff,

Yet another masterpiece. The rays of the sun invite the eye to enter the image then explore.

Quite excellent Jeff! I remember years ago driving an hour to work in Atlanta. Nothing but crawling cars, asphalt and buildings. When I moved to Littleton, Colorado, I then had to commute 40 minutes to a Golf Course situated among the red rocks of the front range; few cars, very little asphalt and few buildings. I went from something I abhorred to something I actually looked forward to, yet it was basically the same thing; a commute to work. This looks like a commute that someone might look forward to. This image is super!!

Beautiful photograph, and your timing was absolutely perfect with the sun just peaking over the horizon. I really like how you have composed this with the rows of grapevines(?) leading the viewer to the hilltop. Well done!
