jim schwaiger 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Another from the same day at the lake. The geese just happened to be there when the timer took the shot. I never saw them until after I clicked the shutter. Two bad things. The Cokin lens hood at the corners and not using my ND Grads. Silly me. Link to comment
michael_ward1 0 Posted May 12, 2003 The fortuitous appearance of the geese really added a wonderful touch to this picture. While the composition is very nice, I don't think it would suffer if the corner shadow were cropped out. I'd like to see the foreground a little lighter, though I'm not sure if that would lose you the unmanipulated checkbox. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted May 14, 2003 I feel that if you do no more than you would have done to a conventional C-Print while working on the digital file then it's unmanipulated. A C-Print can be dodged or burned or color balanced or even separately exposed with different filter packs and the print spotted. Unless you delete the geese or add the Albuquerque skyline in he background, I feel it's unmanipulated. Nice shot, Jim. Wonderful texture and color in the water. True, an ND filter would've been nice but it's still a very nice image. Link to comment
