Spider on yellow rose

Took this photo of a spider on a yellow rose in my front lawn. I'm

trying to decide whether I like this pose better than

I like the other one better

Personally, I like this one better; the spider's body language might well mean "scared", but it looks, to me, like it's about to pounce.. though I'm fairly sure this type of spider doesn't pounce. :) Too, I like the empty space around the spider; he (she?) has "room to move".
