cmouli 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Malheur is a birders paradise – it is a desert oasis but gets a lot of snow in winter. Snow melts early spring and the shallow waters stretch for miles creating a large marshland, ponds and lakes. Numerous birds – Northern Pintail, Tundra Swan, Snow Goose, Greater Sandhill Crane, Grebes.... all arrive in large flocks. I took this photo of two Sandhill Cranes in a marshland near Burns, OR. lalit 0 Posted April 13, 2011 You finally made it :-) Great! I miss this place. I think with the light straight on everything it looks a bit flat, so in this case increasing contrast would be good idea, especially working on shadows. Regards+Lalit Link to comment
