Your sunset worked out really well...at first you can not make out the tiers of rocky mountains. With further investigation, it comes into focus that there are several tiers of mountains. Slight variations of grey. The sunset looks almost un-real. Excellent capture. I never had much luck with sunsets but this makes it look easy. Thanks.

Thanks Nicolas for your appreciation. Based on my limited knowledge, I can explain the graduation in Sun's color. This was shot in Jan, which is close to 3-4 months since the last rain. The dust flying around close to ground makes visibility less and hence the darker color near bottom.

back to revisit. to offset the dark foreground - perhaps two aperture bracketed images could have been taken.
