lots of raw power in this one. nice work.

I really like the pose of the main figure and the way both axes are frozen above their heads. I also like the placement of the two figures in relation to each other and the way they fit into the jumble of logs and such. The one thing that throws me on this picture is the way that vertical log on the right blocks the second figure. It might be better if they didn't overlap. And then there's the background. The trees and the sky are so flat, especially in comparison to the foreground.
