Unusual B&W macro, but not less attractive!

Somehow felt this would have been a better image in color. Would have preferred more cropping on the left. Just my views.

Well, crop may be indeed debateable. B/W is a good choice from my perspective. Unfortunately, the wing gets slightly blurred towards the edges (I admit, I'm also struggling with sharpness and just the right DOF in macro photos).

I like that you you have been chosen the b/w tines for this picture. I think it fits well. Regarding the crop, I don't know, everybody feels different. In my point of view it's very interesting and give an interesting composition and perspective. Anyway it's a a very good macro shot. Congratulations.
