This is one of the pictures from my first attempt at shooting using

some studio style lighting. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in

advance.

There are many elements that makes this a portrait that I like. Her pose and expression is very nice. I like the little bit of hair over her eyes. The lighting is a little flat for my taste but that is a very personal decision. I also like that you did not over-process her skin, the natural view is terrific.

You need to be careful when using sheets as a background. It either needs to be overexposed to a point where the folds are washed out, ironed completely flat or washed and allowed to be wrinkled. The folds draw the eye away from your lovely subject.

Keep at it, Keith!

I like this portrait work, the model is pretty and sounded very competent here and adequately posed, your lighting is also so well set and balanced while the skin tone is of an original nature.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best my friend.
