Moon setting on Lone Pine Peak.

Anyone catch the moon setting yesterday morning? It was beautiful out there that morning, only saw one car out in the Alabama Hills so we had the whole place to ourselves. It had rained heavily the night before we were a little doubtful that we would be getting a great sunrise or moonset so I told them they could sleep in unless I called them early in the morning. Well I called them and 30 minutes later we were shooting this. Man these guys were on the fly, when I walked out of the hotel room they were already passing me in the hallway! It was a great way to start the last day of the workshop before a sunrise shoot!!!

This moon was the biggest moon we've had in the last 18 years and finally I don't feel guilty inside for the moon being bigger then it usually is an image.
