wedeko 0 Posted March 21, 2011 Let me know what you think :) Wondering if the sun isn't too bright?! Link to comment
cristina-velina 0 Posted March 21, 2011 Hi Wendy! This is a beautiful photo of a so wonderful place! You're very lucky to have it visited! Anyway, about the brightness of the sun, you could get it a bit lower, but not from the brightness and from exposure, this way the result would look better, also, you can increase just a bit the saturation of the image, and separate, using for example the graduate filter (as it is presented in lightroom), to increase even more the saturation of the sky. What else you could do... maybe to add bit more clarity or tonal contrast and that's it, at least this is what i had in mind looking on this beautiful landsape.Kind regards, Cristina. Link to comment
JohnOsterman 0 Posted March 21, 2011 I do not dis-agree with Cristina's technical analysis of this photograph, in fact it most certainly is more constructive than what I offer as my impression which is that I like very much the following points; lushness of the vegetation, the reflection of light in the small pools of water on the dirt road, the depth of field, the flock of birds caught at the moment of capture and the low level mist in front of the distant mountains. It all seems to work so well together and could be a scene from ancient times. Regards Link to comment

daverave 1 Posted March 21, 2011 I could see decreasing the intensity of the sun, it is a bit distracting. The foreground could use some additional contrast, IMHO.I was there 23 years ago with my trusty Nikon FM2. It was quite an adventure. Glad to see it hasn't changed all of that much other than Pagan becoming Bagan ;-) Link to comment
ffrank 0 Posted March 24, 2011 I think it looks fine Wendy. Contrast and colors look good too. A well balanced photo. Looks like some place I'd like to visit.Fred Link to comment
