Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening

Would appreciate any feedback and comments. Thanks.

I look at this and say to myself, wouldn't it be great if there was a couple walking up those steps and holding hands, or perhaps an older person and a youngster walking up the steps and holding hands. Also, this was shot in very quiet light. (cloudy) I think snow scenes need backlight and so I would have tried this on a late afternoon with the sun at my back. Otherwise, it has good composition and there is an appeal to it in that it shows solitude. Kevin

You need to work on the contrast. There is absolutely no detail in the white snow, and none in the black shadows either. Just black and white.

Very nice! I like the contrast and the composition. The way the stairs lead the eye is awesome.
