This was taken one night before the Perigee Moon slated for 3-19-2011

(Perigee Moon occurs once every 20 years and this is when the moon is

at it's closet to the earth)

 

Please critique as this is the first time I have ever photographed the

moon... It's not as easy as it looks...LOL

I know how difficult it is! Especially without 1000mm lens! This one looks quite crisp and a bit noisy! I also thought to take a picture of this momentous happening, but the night was cloudy!
