I like the composition and overall feel, though it is a touch too soft for me. It seems slightly out of focus or could use a tad more sharpening in software

Good framing and great expression. Backgroung would be the only pick. Regards PK.

I like the empty space on the left. It might work too cropped to a square, but it would be much more conventional. Beside, cropping 35mm is stretching it, if you want a square, get a 6x6 MF camera and you'll get fascinating tonality in the process.

Maybe some more contrast would be welcome, but only a little more! Try Sensia 100 or Provia 100F, desaturated it in PhotoShop. Not "true" B&W, but just try it... :-)

Hey, I think I know who that is. She actually looks like she knows what she's doing. :) Clearly, the photographer knew what he was doing as the result is very very good. The soft lighting falling on her face and shoulder is outstanding and I think the crop is dead perfect. Kudos Sean. I tried to catch a shot like this when we were at the Britannia but the damn pint glass kept getting in the way of the lens. :)

This is a really wonderful picture of Bridget. No more cropping needed and the softness is here quite the thing.I see a beauty like a rose...

nice pose, and good crop. Good work on keeping both eyes sharp. Great work.

I didn't read the other comments.

Can't help but look at this woman's eyes, even though the shoulder and the hand are large in the frame, and bright and after a while become distracting. Lighting is very nice, very smooth, very soft.

The large black area, in my opinion, emphasizes the hand, for some strange reason. When trimmed tighter, the hand and shoulder become lines leading to the eyes, but with the expanse of the black, both the hand and shoulder become elements on their own.

So, if I were planning on looking at this for a long time I would try to downplay the hand and shoulder by burning and by removing the expansive black.

Voila!
