Beautiful shot!

it looks rendered..but very nice.

It's unreally real, with an illuminated apple swimming in quicksilver. A good shot.

I too taught at first that this apple was swimming, but a quick look at it clearly demonstrates that this is an apple in mid-dunkperhaps to be photographed by a lower camera as it enters the water?

Photoshop gone terribly terribly wrong.

The refraction and surface tension are subtle tells that the apple and camera are under-water.

 

Well done! You obviously have a big bath and clean water wherever you live!

stefano, its really easy.. if you are under the water-surface espacially when u use a lightsource (a flash) the surface acts like a mirror.. that simple :)
