This was shot out the window of my car as I was driving at about 30 mph. The camera was moved so it would point at one spot as I passed. Some parts are really blurry, but you can still make out "City

The highest resolution this exists in is 640x480 since my memory card is small and frequently fills up, even at that low resolution

This was taken from a moving car with the goal of getting a picture like this. There were about 20-50 that didn't work so well. You can even read "City of Dallas" on the trash can.

Driving at 30MPH while taking photos can be hazardous to your health. Aside from that minor point, I think this is a really cool photo. I just took out my trash this morning, same type of trash "can". The photo reminds me of my busy life, running around all the time, but I have to remember to get that trash out or wait a whole week for another chance. Anyway, what you did is called "panning", where you follow your subject during the exposure, which keeps it sharp while blurring the background. In your case, the subject was stationary while the camera moved instead. Very interesting. Another technique you must try is zooming during the exposure. Or how about zooming and panning? Ok it's late and I am rambling.

Thank you.

From now on I will not delete my sometimes blurred

pics without carefully reconsidering their visual

values to myself and others.
