A pair of ducks have a nest under the ramp to the right of this photo.

Sharon, fed them today, while I photographed the event. Thank you for

your comments.

I have more photos of the ducks. I was surprised this photo turned out so well. Thanks for the compliment.

Hi Janice:

Lucky duck. Accommodation with meals provided!

It is a nice sharp photo that tells the story well. If one uses their imagination, one could see Sharon and the duck competing for the same piece of bread given that both are intensely focused on it..... Ducks are fast!

I think this is a Muscovy. They are expert and ravenous fly catchers. We used to keep several in one of our research barns for that reason.

Regards, John

Even with a D80 this photographer, even being a lady, at least has to consider if postures are strong, lucky, charming, pleasant, fitting.. or not. ;)

The act of correcting behavior is a very sensite to me! Because I am free spirit and some times carefree!  For whatever reason I feel that as fotographers we have to make people look interesting and beautiful!  However we have to use tact and sensitivity.  What I do I take one image as people set themselves and them just ask them to chage position so as to have variation! It works and their creativity comes out!   Take good care. The father and daughter image is on for you!  Warm regards from Miami.

...that I didn't make Sharon look her best. I see details, but I have a lot to learn about these things, in photography and in other areas as well. I need to learn tact... etc.
