Your words and image has cause for dozens of PN members to open their hearts and make us cry knowing that we all are one united in affection and caring for one another.  I have always known that the technical part of the photos is just a vessel for the real emotions and feelings behind every human being connecting to one another. I am connected to you in many ways, however now, that your mother is fragil, I am sending for the highest good to emerge for her and all related to her! Love and light for the benefit of inner peace to you during this times of unpredictable moments.  Take good care of her and yourself dear Gail.  Your mother is gorgeous and you will always have her!  Warm regards my friend.

I always respect your words concerning family and especially 'Mom's' Tom...for I can tell you loved yours very much.  I am sorry I didn't see these kind words earlier.  Thankyou for your concern and wise advice.  Each day is a bit different.  I return from the hospital exhaused. I guess it is 'in the watching' of her 'slipping away'. She is aware that is what is happening.  My children, Shauna and Jesse, travelled to visit her this evening, and through the stupor of her pain meds, she cracked a few jokes.  It was so touching for me to watch them interact with her, for I know it was difficult, but she made things so much easier for them.

They too, although now young adults, will miss  her so.  As we sat around her bedside, Mon. evening and one last week, we reminished of many happy and funny times enjoyed together. My children made me very proud of them in my 'watching', and also made me realize just how much they have grown up. She was a great Grandmother to them, especially when they were babies and toddlers, I always enjoyed watching  her interact with them.  We always lived far away from my parents, but when we did get together for a visit, it was a fine time.  Thanks again, for stopping to express your feelings Tom.  Most sincerely, Gail

My apologies for my tardiness in replying to this lovely note of support for my family. Although I am very tired, I can feel the love and prayers of my fellow PN friends, many who have 'walked upon the waters of sorrow' before me.  So many offering wise advise and words expressing their sympathy and encouragement during this time.  I can't say enough about how this has touched my heart, and helped 'hold me up' when I've needed it most. My heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes go out to you Mehmet, for I know you must deal with this quite a bit in your work. Your are a man who sees beyond the exterior of a person, and you have the wonderful ability of drawing the 'soul' from within and letting it shine through in your lovely portraits.  A wonderful gift.  Thankyou once again for your kindness.  My deepest respects, Gail

My apologies for being so tardy in seeing these lovely words you expressed. I think many will agree with you, and see the 'bond' many of us have with each other. Never meeting but always conversing  about our photos, but they also are so much a part of our lives.  I know I will always have my Mom with me.  I will find a very 'safe place' in my heart for her to dwell.  She deserves it so, after this long and difficult struggle. You never truly know how fortunate  you are, until this one you love so much is 'leaving you....bit by bit, a little more each day'. Her love was a 'wise and constant teacher' as I grew up, and many of the lessons taught were passed on to my children, and they too have embraced the many lessons filled with how to love and treat others. Thankyou jorge for taking the time to write, for I know how much FAMILY means to you.  My deepest thanks, Gail
