Gorgeous shot Jack, the light, the discarded bike and the gate shadows summon up a brilliant story. One of my favourites.

I am back from a trip the easternmost part of Turkey.

Good to see you are safe after the disaster which makes everybody feel helpless...

Yes, what's going on in Photo.net? So many comments... Very well deserved. This must be quite a disturbance of the Japanese order. We are not perfect and that's too bad that the Country's government doesn't seem to have accepted that. A great picture, almost an icon.

Sorry it has taken me so long to answer you, I had computer problems and have been off the internet for ten days or so. The composition here seemed natural to me. The arc of curb on the right was important for me to keep. As for pp, very little was done. This was taken early in the morning, New Years Day.
