jenniferleigh 0 Posted March 29, 2011 I recently entered a canvas print version of this image into a local gallery, and have been wondering how it would be received by other people. Would love to know your thoughts! ~ thanks for your time, and for stopping in. Jennifer
gb3 6 Posted March 29, 2011 Jennifer - I love the turtle and the angle of him in the frame. I also like the sunbeams penetrating through the water, and the bubbles! Now for what I don't like. Seems a bit soft on the body area of the turtle. This is, however, mitigated a bit by you getting the most important part of him in focus - the face and eyes. Also don't know about the bottom fish there, seems awful close to obscuring the view of the turtle, making the shot seem a tad cluttered. You could process him out, but not sure how easy that would be to make it convincing. Hope this helps -G
jim_j2 9 Posted March 31, 2011 Jennifer,I would think that this would be wonderful as a canvas print, and well accepted. The Sea Turtle and the light rays are well defined. As for the fish at the bottom of the frame, . . . well it would be a bit better if it were not there and cloning or cropping it out in my opinion would do more harm than good. I think that most viewer's who have been to Aquariums or have any interest in Sea Life will recognize it being a Shark of some sort. Bull Shark I think!Love those light rays and the way it has lit the Sea Turtle!Best wishes,Jim j.
