PeterKrenek 26 Posted March 1, 2011 Another masterpiece of yours, Lukas. Perfect moment, composition and perfect processing. Do you use ND grads for shots like this or do you use digital ND grads ? Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted March 1, 2011 Seeing this large is truly a magnificent experience. Very well done! Gorgeous composition, and perfect exposure. Thanks for sharing. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
antongorlin 0 Posted March 2, 2011 extremely good light here!the only thing I could suggest is to include more of the shadow on the foreground. It will make additional layer and better perspective. Link to comment
lukas ondrousek aka jozef 0 Posted March 2, 2011 Peter, thank you :-)I don't believe in software ND grad. My personal experience is that the colors and contrast is much better, when you shoot it with normal filter, than trying to darken overexposed sky or lighten black shadows.Besides, I found filters quite handy and easy to use. Only problem are trees that are above horizont - but still easier to handle with filter than with PS work.Anton, thank you as well :-)Composing there was quite problematic. The hill is kinda easy to climb, but still 160 km from the capital(where i live) + 1 hour climb up. Despite that we were 5 photographers(all panoramatics) at the top (which is 2x2meter) :-((( Very dissapointing situation. Link to comment
scottsmorra 0 Posted March 4, 2011 Amazing image Lukas. You did a great job handling the extreme dynamic range in this scene. Nice job stitching 10 images as well. Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted May 13, 2011 Wonderful composition with unique colouring, bravo. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted November 9, 2011 You can shake the GND filter in the middle of the exposure to reduce the impact on the trees. Good shot. Link to comment
