a fruitful walk along the river... everyday sights frozen into pithy cameos... the first, perfectly timed to yield a dynamic thrusting composition... the second a visual delight, a playful reversal of the way we see things... the third, of the man praying, a gracious sweep and humbling... then up and down with a z leading to 5, a couple on the wavy road, a dark tunnel in their path but then light ahead, a jogger perhaps offering an alternative route... then a jogger caught with precise timing amidst man and nature's graffiti... finally this: a pair of cyclists pedaling along into the sunshine from the shadows

i feel as if i have walked the river myself today, a pleasurable journey...
