An interesting concept, Dara.  I almost like to look at this as an abstract, and I think that the square crop works very well here -- It enhances the different geometrical shapes and lines, and it compliments the little lit square (with the view of sky), at the bottom of your image, imo. Nice work!

now Dara, this is outstanding! and Mar, the geometry genius, is exactly right... the square crop helps attract the eyes to all the right angles in this piece... it's just a beautiful pattern, enhanced by the way the light plays through the cloth... and, of course, that wonderful mellow glowy tint... and, if one looks at it long enough one notices that in that center/left scaffolding (amazing dof), we're falling into the sky.  in my faves, it's a visual gem ;-} dp
