Beautiful model and sound very competent and so relaxed with her pose, your lighting is spot on and the slight soft effect on the face adding a very pleasant touch to this work, the skin  tone is also well been brought out, the model eyes very well communicating with the viewers.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Janus,

Daria is a beautiful girl. You have focused well on her eyes. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer). I like her expression. It isn't what I would call inviting, but it is thoughtful and interesting. The lighting is excellent. She has very good catchlights. Her make-up looks very well done. The eyeliner under her eyes really helps to make her eyes stand out. The background is nicely neutral.

She is quite well separated from the background, but you could have a little more light on the top of her head, so that her hair didn't blend into the background as much. If you would lighten the shadows a tad you would be able to bring out more detail in her tights, the deep shadows on her shirt and in her hair. Her legs bother me the most because you have so much that would be showing if they were a little lighter. That is quite a large area of darkness.

It would be good to get rid of the little bit of her shirt that is showing at her right thigh -- just below her left hand. It draws attention to itself because there is so much dark area surrounding the little light area. It might be good to tone down the highlights on the chair for the same reason.

The composition is quite good, but you could crop just a smidgen off the right side. You want more space in front of her than behind so that she is facing into the picture rather than out of it.

I don't care for posing her hands crossed over her knee. It doesn't look particularly natural. There are a couple other problems with her hands. They are lighter than her face. You want the viewer's attention drawn to her face, not to her hands.

Be careful of foreshortening. Watch for anything closer to the camera than the body. If nearer the camera than her body her feet, knees, hands, elbows and shoulders will look out of proportion to the rest of the body -- larger than normal -- foreshortened.

Avoid having the back (or palm) of the hand towards the camera. The edge (side) of the hand towards the camera is thinning, feminine and graceful.

Even though Daria appears to have a wonderfully slim figure, you could turn her body at more of an angle to the camera. Just like it is not a good idea to pose her hands straight on to the camera, posing her body straight on to the camera is also not usually a good idea. Posing her body at an angle to the camera helps to make her appear thinner, more feminine, graceful and elegant.

Her skin tone has a slight pink tinge to it. This is especially true of her fingers.

It is quite proper to place your name on a mat surrounding your photograph.

Nice shot,

Mark

I like it.

I agree with cropping a sliver from the right. And to my eyes the shadows on the right side are a tad harsh.

But apart from that the picture works for me.
