Owls are beautiful birds, no doubt about it.

If I may make a few suggestions. First off, horizontal lines can be great graphical elements, but using them can be a double edged sword. In this case the wire upon this owl sets is about 3º off the horizontal, which is very distracting. Also, the owl is rather dark; by at least a half stop. I am guessing you followed the meter's suggestion, however with the brighter sky, following that suggestion, you will underexpose nearly every single time. Lastly, it's great that you did not place the bird dead in the center of the frame. I think there is a little too much negative space to the right of the bird, however.

I straightened the wire, lightened the owl and removed some of the excess negative space.
