Levels of Interest

I was shooting a community event the other day for a friend and I

caught this.

It's one of those photos that all you can say is "good capture".  I find it amazing how life can arrange itself in such a remarkably graphic manner!

It reminds me of myself at a dance when I was in high school. I think the term used was 'wall flower'. It suggests that things don't really change as we age.

I know that I'm reading a lot into your image. The point is that it has allowed me the luxury to do that. Thank you.

Great image showing a range of expression. Was this the lighting in the hall or did you supplement it somehow?

John:  I had a 580EX II on a bracket with a diffuser and for this it was bouncing straight up with some of the light from the diffuser directed toward the subject.
