Very creatively done B&W!  The framing and border provide interesting accents to the floral image in the center.  Excellent tonality!

My best,

Many thanks for your encouraging and enthusiastic comments, you always have my best interests at heart when you comment. A wonderful support you are and I am so appreciative.  The original image is of a deep pink tuilips, but I guess when in black and white, they could be similar to a rose.  Cheers my friend, hope you enjoy a good weekend.....Gail

I mistakenly thanked Niki and Rashed twice...will have to see if I can get those deleted....(I recall what my first employer used to call me, he was British, very fond of me, but loved calling me ' the little twit ' !! I think that applies here' - again- very sorry)

Such kind words of encouragement are always grande to hear.  It's silly how I double guess myself about posting an image. I  did the main part of this image back in the summer, but didn't think it was good enough for black and white, which I have hardly gotten my toes wet in the area.  But I shall try to be a bit braver, hopefully I'll be visiting you soon, Gail

Hi Gail, I just wanted to compliment you on this 'Black and White' photo of these tulips. Looking at just the photo part of your composition, I very much like the way your focus was on the middle tulip, while keeping the rest of them blurry in the BG. The B&W contrasts are pretty strong, but that might be what you were after here. Original overall framing too -- A very artistic image, Gail..! Best regards to you, Marjolein
