Gary,

Nice shot.  Birds are the hardest wildlife to shoot because of the movement.  That said you captured the detail and action nicely but the water is so bright that it kind of washes out the image.  If you are interested there is a great site with lots in info  - http://www.digitalbirdphotography.com.
