I am no bird expert, not by any stretch but I think this is a chickadee. This image gives me the chills just looking at it. It is 74º here in NW FL today! Maybe there is some truth to that global warming nonsense!

Anyway. I think this image could be improved by a slightly tighter crop. There are a lot of lines going in all directions with the branches. They do not provide any real cohesive leading lines leading to the bird. The reddish leaf does balance out the colors well though in what is pretty much an almost monochromatic background. I moved the center of the bird pretty close to the intersection of the bottom horizontal and right vertical third to help in composition as well. I also lightened up the area around it's eye to separate it from the black feathers.
