tore 10 Posted February 18, 2011 She is a pretty model and I like this shoot but I think you can do improvements with some easy change so I will give you some " hard " critique. hope you don't mind. The shooting angle is a bit low try to keep the camera as a parallel plane to the model in a line between her eye and her belly then you get the best proportions.try to avoid a wide angle of the lens, you shoot this at 29mm on your lens try the 55mm end instead it keep the proportion between the aria close to the lens and further away more equal.A lower iso setting, the 800 is a bit high if you shoot with a flash, try this setup close to a window and use the flash just to fill in the shadows it will give you softer and more pleasing light. a iso between 200-400 will give you a higher jpg quality.I like her expression and the composition with her boa is great.Best regards Tore Link to comment
janine_burger 0 Posted February 20, 2011 Thank you Tore, I really appreciate your "hard" critique.I also thought the angel is a bit low and yes, my lighting wasn't what it is suppose to be. will try to redo it using your advise. This is still a bit new to me and any advise is helpful. I really appreciate it. Link to comment
